The live timing functionality will provide players with data such as individual sector times, time splits and details on what the player's fastest, slowest and average lap times are. As indicated by the provided media assets, this information will be accessbile whilst the player is on and off the track – though it's currently unknown if spectators will also have access to these timing details.
On top of the time keeping features, TAG Heuer will also be represented in Gran Turismo Sport via an in-game 'Museum' and 'Brand Central' setup. According to the official statement, these will allow players to "discover the values of TAG Heuer" and "learn about historical events from arts, geo-political, automotive and from TAG Heuer".
No additional information on Gran Turismo Sport was revealed in the partnership announcement, though the official statement did stress the upcoming PS4-exclusive racing game is still "due to launch in 2017".
