The Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina has been revealed at this year's Geneva Motor Show.
A collaborative effort between Fittipaldi Motors, Pininfarina and HWA, the Fittipaldi EF7 is an all-new, track-based supercar "born from the mind" of the two-time Formula One World Champion and Indy 500 winner Emerson Fittipaldi.
An emphasis on safety is at the heart of the Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina, with the carbon-fibre chassis being engineered to exceed current FIA safety requirements. The use of carbon fibre in the chassis (as well as the bodywork) also result in a claimed kerb weight of 1,000kgs.
Production will be limited to 39 units, with buyers being able to personalise the car via additions such as interior and exterior colours and racing number decals. Those who purchase the car will also be able to specify driver coaching from Emerson Fittipaldi himself, as well as be offerred membership to the Fittipaldi Racing Club driver experience programme.
The Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina will be making its inaugural racing game appearance in Gran Turismo Sport, and will be eligible to participate in the title's FIA-regulated online 'Gran Turismo Championships'.
