The latest news on the rumour mill is that Microsoft may well announce not one but two new Xboxes this year.
French website Jeuxvideo (translated by WCCFTech, via GamesRadar) has reported the two new consoles named “Xbox Lockhart” and “Xbox Anaconda” will be revealed at E3 2019 held at the Los Angeles Convention Center between June 11-14.
Lockhart will be the more budget console of the two and is said to have no disc tray to keep costs down. Anaconda meanwhile is very much the bigger and more powerful brother with a disc tray and beefier specs. Both consoles will seemingly feature a 1 TB SSD hard drive.
We can supposedly expect both consoles to release in 2020 with Halo Infinite as a launch title. As always it’s best to approach rumours with a healthy dose of scepticism until more details come to light.
