Thrustmaster sells a huge range of officially licensed Ferrari racing peripherals, such as the T300 Ferrari GTE wheel and Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-On as part of its collaboration with the Italian automaker since 1992. Now, Thrustmaster has announced its first Scuderia Ferrari gaming headset: the T.Racing Scuderia Ferrari Edition.
Finished in Ferrari’s famous Rosso Corsa colour, the new T.Racing Scuderia Ferrari Edition is inspired by the headsets used in the Scuderia Ferrari paddock and is the result of a “long and painstaking development process”. The meticulously crafted headset features a high-quality metal headband and leather padding, resulting in a realistic and luxurious aesthetic.
50mm/2” analytic drivers provide clear audio without any saturation and the stable frequency response curve has been optimised for gaming sessions with a perfect balance between bass, mids and treble.
The T.Racing Scuderia Ferrari Edition also features a unidirectional microphone designed to target your voice only, ensuring effective communication with your teammates. The microphone is detachable and can be adjusted to fit all head shapes, while memory foam ear cushions and gel inserts provide outstanding comfort inspired by real-life paddock headsets.
A handy on-ear volume knob allows the player to adjust the audio level of the game, while an easily accessible in-line controller controls the microphone volume and mute controls.
The Thrustmaster T.Racing Scuderia Ferrari Edition headset will be available on November 8th and is compatible for all platforms including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita, tablets and smartphones. Pre-orders start on October 18th with an RRP of £89.99.
Before it goes on sale, the fetching Ferrari headset will be shown for the first time at Ferrari Store in Milan on August 31st and will be on display until September 2nd as part of the 2018 Ferrari Store City Race. Three cockpits will be set up demoing F1 2018 showcasing Thrustmaster’s range of Ferrari racing peripherals, including the new headset.
