Thrustmaster recently showcased its range of sophisticated flight simulation hardware at the Royal International Air Tattoo air show allowing us to take a closer look at the new revolutionary TPR Rudder System, which you can see in action in our video report below.
Developed in close coordination with aviation professionals after being commonly requested by the community, the high-quality Rudder System is one of the most advanced flight simulation peripherals ever made. Thanks to extensive use of steel and aluminium, the premium pedals feel extremely sturdy and are modelled to look like the rudder pedals in a real aircraft.
Using the Pendul_R technology and its suspended mechanism, the TPR Rudder System replicates your inputs perfectly, allowing for precise control. It’s also extremely customisable, with two adjustment points offering a choice of five positions for each pedal and a range of angles from 35 degrees to 75 degrees to suit different play styles.
The Thrustmaster TPR Rudder System is now available to order on Thrustmaster‘s website for £449.99.
As with Thrustmaster’s racing peripherals, the TPR Rudder System forms part of a product ecosystem that combine to create the ultimate virtual cockpit setup ideal for flying in VR. These include the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Joystick and Throttle, which was also on display at the Royal International Air Tattoo, and T-Flight U.S. Air Force Edition Headset, which is based on design specifications requested from actual military pilots and virtual pilots from the community. It features crystal-clear audio, minimal distortion and cushioned comfort for long-term use.
