Thrustmaster will soon release a number of new goodies for their ever-expanding “Eco-System”. One such product is the absolutely stunning Ferrari 250 GTO wheel rim.
The wheel rim was recently spotted and snapped at the recently held Paris Games Week (via BSimRacing), and can be seen to the right.
The stunning racing wheel rim belonged to the very exclusive Ferrari 250 GTO which was produced between 1962-1964. The beautiful Ferrari sported a 3.0 litre V12 engine which was capable of producing 300 bhp with a 4.0 litre V12 also an option.
Only 39 250 GTOs were ever made, and you had to stump up $18,000 to take one home back in the early sixties (a huge sum of money). However, doing so would've proved a fantastic investment, as in 2013, a Ferrari 250 GTO sold for a cool $52 million.
No price points have yet been announced by Thrustmaster, although there are rumours of the rim costing as much as €399. Let us know what you make of the classic rim in the comments.
