Following on the from the recent TS-PC racing wheel reveal, Thrustmaster has officially revealed the latest in their ever-growing roster with the T300RS GT Edition.
As the name suggests, the T300RS GT Edition, available now, is an officially licensed Gran Turismo racing wheel which is based off of the existing Thrustmaster T300 RS. This racing wheel is currently available for £349.99 and is compatible with the PlayStation 4, PC and PlayStation 3.
Like the T300RS, you can expect a brushless motor which offers force feedback complete with up to 270-1080 degrees of rotation. Thrustmaster's H.E.A.R.T. (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) also features with its contactless magnetic sensors which deliver 16-bit precision (65,536 values). The racing wheel also includes internal memory and upgradable firmware.
Unlike the standard T300 RS racing wheel, the T300RS GT Edition comes with a metal 3-pedal set (as opposed to the regular 2-pedal set) complete with clutch. These long-travel metal pedals can be adjusted in terms of height and spacing and the brake pedal offers progressive resistance. Brand new pedal heads were created for this particular pedal set which have a unique design.
The T300RS GT Edition racing wheel is made from metal and features a rubber trim, it can of course be detached and swapped out for other rims in the Thrustmaster ecosystem. Along with the official PlayStation 4 buttons, the wheel rim features the Gran Turismo logo on the metal central hub. The rim is 11 inches / 28 cm in diameter and features metal paddle shifters measuring 5 inches / 13 cm in height with a total of 13 action buttons and directional buttons.
