As expected, the DiRT Rally PSVR update deployed today, adding VR support to Codemasters' uncompromising rally simulation on PS4. For PlayStation VR headset owners deprived of racing game releases other than the DriveClub VR and the Trackmania Turbo VR update, it should be a welcome relief.
Available for existing owners of DiRT Rally on the PlayStation Store for £9.99, or as a £39.99 bundle which includes the full game and the three Fully Loaded packs, every track, stage, car, and discipline has been given the VR treatment, making the white knuckle rallies, hillclimbs and rallycross events even more immersive. A physical edition is also available at selected retailers.
The PSVR update also adds a new co-driver mode, where a second player can use the buttons and touchpad of a DualShock 4 controller to give pace note calls to the driver from the social screen. Y
