Codemasters Chief Designer Paul Coleman recently conducted an AMA session on the official DiRT subreddit where community members asked a number of questions about Codemasters upcoming titles and projects.
One such question was directed at DiRT Rally's upcoming PSVR add-on release which Coleman shed some light on. According to Coleman, we can expect the PSVR add-on DLC for Dirt Rally to release “very soon though – most likely in the next couple of weeks”.
So it looks like we'll be able to get our virtual reality fix from DiRT Rally before the end of the month which is great news. DiRT Rally's PSVR update will follow in the footsteps of racing titles to support the medium such as Driveclub, Trackmania Turbo and Moto Racer 4.
Codemasters are currently not ruling out the possibility for VR support for their upcoming DiRT 4 title either and are said to be waiting on the response to DiRT Rally's PSVR update before commiting to anything.
The DiRT Rally PSVR update will be made available for existing players as a DLC add-on for £9.99 on the PlayStation Store.
