Battlezone, one of the strongest PlayStation VR (PSVR) titles available right now, will benefit from a free update next week which sees the inclusion of a new (or should that be old?) Classic Mode.
The v1.03 update, coming December 20, will promise to take you all the way back to the title’s eighties roots (albeit using PSVR) with its classic mode which mimics the visual anesthetic of the original title all those years ago. This all equates to additional mission types, maps and lots of new content and all for no charge, a great Christmas present you could say.
The new update will also include the ability for players to customise their tanks thanks to new skin pack, a pack of custom horns and even some bobbleheads to give your tank that personal touch. These customisation items will be available on the PlayStation Store at the launch of the v1.03 update.
To accompany the announcement, Rebellion has released a new trailer showing the Classic Mode in action which can be seen below along with the full changelog for the upcoming v1.03 update.
