Apart from DriveClub VR, the PlayStation VR's launch line-up has been lacking in racing games to take advantage of the technology. But DriveClub VR has its setbacks with its downgraded graphics, and while Moto Racer 4 recently launched with PSVR compatibility, it was limited to just two game modes.
Thankfully, PSVR owners now have another racing game to experience in VR, as Ubisoft has announced a free update availalbe for Nadeo's TrackMania Turbo adding VR compatibility to the PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
Rather than simply adding VR compatibility to the existing game, the free update includes 40 exclusive VR tracks set in the game's four different environments, allowing you to experience the intense speed, jumps and stomach churning turns and loops like never before. My advice: keep a sick bag on standby just in case.
If you own a VR headset but don't own TrackMania Turbo, a free VR demo is available on PS4 and PC containing four tracks.

TrackMania Turbo will also support the PlayStation 4 Pro out this week. Details haven't been disclosed, but you can probably expect the usual visual refinements and resolution upgrades, although the game already runs flawlessly in 1080p and 60fps on the standard PS4.
TrackMania Turbo turned out to be one of the best surprises of the year with its compulsive arcade-style trial and error gameplay. You can find out more in our TrackMania Turbo review.
