News Battlezone brings its intense 4-player tank battle action to the PSVR

Developer Rebellion has released their much anticipated tank combat title Battlezone today to coincide with the release of the PlayStation VR.
The VR title is available now in both boxed and digital form and to coincide with the launch we of course have the obligatory trailer. The trailer, seen below, references the original Balltezone game from 1980 which some of you may remember if you’re old enough.
Battlezone keeps the action fresh by giving 1-4 players a campaign experience which is procedurally generated to ensure that no two play throughs are the same. The action of course takes place from the cockpit of your tank (not just any tank though, only the most powerful tank in the galaxy) as you do battle with the evil corporation which is causing mayhem on Earth.
“When we set out to bring BATTLEZONE to PlayStation VR, we were always adamant we wanted to create a fully-fledged game, and not something you’d just call an experience,” said Rebellion CEO and Co-founder Jason Kingsley OBE. “It’s great to see so many positive early reviews, and I’m personally so thrilled to see one of gaming’s most beloved IPs come back to VR with a bang!
