Game: Gran Turismo Sport
Platform: PS4
Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment
Release Date: 17/10/2017
Japanese magazine Famitsu recently caught up with Polyphony's top man Kazunori Yamauchi and brought up the subject of DLC for the upcoming PlayStation 4 racer.
According to Yamauchi, DLC for GT Sport will be arriving in a timely manner and fans won't have to wait as long as they did with Gran Turismo 5 on the PlayStation 3 console which took around a year to release. You can see Yamauchi's quote below.
“Naturally we’re planning DLC and updates after launch, but I can’t go into specifics at this point in time, said Kazunori Yamauchi. “What I can tell you is that you won’t be kept waiting for a year like with GT5. I think a certain period of time after release we’ll start putting it out fairly quickly.” (Credit: GTPlanet)
Unfortunately Yamauchi and Polyphony have somewhat of a reputation for missing their original deadlines and sometimes by quite a margin so whether or not we'll see DLC so soon after GT Sport's launch remains to be seen.
No doubt more details on GT Sport will be unveiled at E3 so stayed tuned.
