Slightly Mad Studios has announced the full track roster for Project CARS 3 – and it looks like players will be very spoiled for choice when it comes to picking which circuit to race on.
While it’s down a fair bit on Project CARS 2’s selection of 60 racing venues, the location line-up in Project CARS 3 is still pretty big at 49 different environments. They cover quite a few countries, too, as no less than 19 nations will be represented in Project CARS 3.
Many of that total will be familiar to Project CARS series veterans, as a majority of the tracks have been featured in previous games either from launch or as premium DLC. Of the new additions to Project CARS 3’s track roster, highlights include famous venues like Mugello, Jerez and Interlagos, and fans of fictional street tracks will be catered for with new-to-the-series layouts in Shanghai, Havana and Monument Canyon in Colorado, USA.
Sadly, not every track from the first two Project CARS games has found its way into Project CARS 3. Many of Project CARS 2’s off-road and karting venues haven’t made the cut in its sequel, and Project CARS 3 also goes without some pretty notable real life circuits like Spa-Francorchamps, the Red Bull Ring and Le Mans. The latter is a particularly notable omission, given the number of Le Mans prototype and GT racing cars that are represented in Project CARS 3.
