Italian-based development team Milestone has released a new trailer for Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 3 which showcases the game’s new features.
Entitled “Be One Of Us” the tongue-in-cheek trailer highlights the new features of the officially licensed two-wheeled racer through the medium of song.
The trailer mentions the addition of a new compound with co-op gameplay, an improved track editor and more, check it out below.
Monster Energy Supercross 3 will feature the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross season complete with 100 riders across the 450SX and 250SX classes and 15 official stadiums and tracks.
For the first time in the series, you’ll be able to choose between a sponsor team or an official Supercross team, you’ll also have the chance to become the teammate of your favourite Supercross rider. The title has support for four-player co-op and features a “huge” free-roaming area with nine tracks replicating the Factory Supercross Practice Tracks in California.
New dedicated servers should allow for lag-free online gaming, and players can create online tournaments through the Race Director Mode where they’ll decide player starting position, assign penalties, and choose which cameras to focus on. Online Multiplayer features Quick Race, Elimination, and Championship modes across its public and private lobbies.
Elsewhere, rider models have been remade from scratch so we can expect new animations. Female riders also feature for the first time with their own physics and animation.
Tracks feature revised particle effects which are said to increase detail and realism. The physics have been overhauled and a new in-air bike control system has been included which should improve bike handling during jumps. The Track Editor also makes a return with newly added modules and stadium items including pyrotechnics.
Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 3 will release globally across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Stadia, and Switch platforms on February 4, 2020.
