Game: TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2

Platform: PC, PS4, XBox One

Publisher: Nacon

Release Date: 19/03/2020

Back in June this year, BigBen announced the sequel to 2018’s TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge. Rather than hitting us with a flashy trailer, the announcement only gave us a single screenshot to drool over.

That has now all changed thanks to the release of the long-awaited trailer which gives us a look at the game running for the first time ever. The trailer highlights the newly revised physics system which has been created from the ground up for TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2.

You can view the first-ever trailer for the officially licensed two-wheel racer below.

As mentioned earlier, the physics have been rebuilt to mimick realistic bike behaviour. The newly implemented ‘gyroscopic effect’ gives the player more precise steering and speed wobbles have been added to forewarn players that a fall could be imminent.

Developer Kylotonn has also redesigned the brakes and shock absorbers which now respond to all bumps in the road which is essential feedback when riding at breakneck speeds.

In TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 you’ll need to manage wear and tear of various bike parts: the brakes, suspension, engine and tyre temperatures all need to be monitored to squeeze the most from your bike – especially if you race the full distance of the 60km circuit.

We’re excited to see how different the game feels with the newly implemented physics. TT Isle of Man – Rode on the Edge 2 will release across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC in 2020.
