Circuit Superstars is an undeniably charming retro-inspired top-down racer which is heading to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC in 2020.
Circuit Superstars combines a retro aesthetic with a somewhat realistic driving model that is easy to play but hard to master.
The game features a split between on- and off-road racing from a range of vehicle classes. The charming racer also has split-screen support for up to four players as witnessed in the recently released gameplay video seen below.
Circuit Superstars stands out from a crowd of retro-inspired racers thanks to its impressive range of disciplines from entry-level karts and high-speed LeMans prototype racers to both modern and classic Formula 1 style open-wheelers. Additionally, the game includes rallycross, sprint cars and trophy trucks, there are even some NASCAR style stock cars too.
Circuit Superstars includes a single-player campaign mode along with ranked online multiplayer racing and four-player split-screen support. Race events include full weekend formats with practice, qualifying, and race sessions. The top-down racer also includes tyre changes, refuelling, and damage repair.
Developer Original Fire Games is a small six-person team that was founded by three siblings from Mexico (Carolina, Carlos and Alberto Mastretta). You can learn more on the game and developer in the video below.
