The latest gameplay trailer for RIDE 4 has been revealed, featuring completely remodelled bikes with working elements, and gauges. These are among the most detailed bike models ever to feature in a video game and there is no doubt they are the star of the show. In terms of full game package the list of bike and circuits has yet to be officially confirmed, however official details confirm: RIDE 4 retail Special Edition for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, that will feature a Steelbook dedicated to the iconic Yamaha R1 2020 and allows access to the Season Pass, that will include 65 new bikes, 2 new tracks and 150 new events! So, lots to look forward to if you have the full season pass.
Entitled ‘Gameplay Trailer’ one could be forgiven for being a little disappointed that the trailer doesn’t actually include any gameplay, for the most part what you see are in-game engine elements. Generic popular trailer music, I sometimes long for more unique in-house music tracks, they give trailers far more individuality. Strangely, Milestone have taken the option to present this video content at 30fps, not maximising the potential of this trailer, while graphics do appear more garish and over saturated, this giving an almost cartoony feel to the foliage within the surrounding environments. The game so far is lacking some artistic polish and style, but lets hold any judgement until a proper hands-on which should hopefully follow sometime in late August. RIDE 4 will be released on 8 October, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC/STEAM.
