Redout is to become the very latest in a long line of racing games to make their way over to Nintendo’s current console.
The fast-paced futuristic racer will launch on the Switch on May 14, 2019, and will include all of the title’s previously-released DLC content packs making it a particularly large package.
Redout on the Switch will boast 60 tracks across 12 environments, 28 different racing craft, 11 different event types and more than 100 events in the single-player Career mode, not to mention hundreds of liveries allowing you to customise vehicles, and more besides.
Sadly we don’t currently have any Switch footage but you can view the original console trailer for the anti-gravity racer below.
“We are very, very happy to release Redout on Switch,” says 34BigThings CEO Valerio Di Donato. “Porting the game to Nintendo’s console has been a bumpy road filled with technical challenges, and we are proud to have come out on top of them to deliver fans what they have been asking.”
“It is truly a lot of content,” says 34BigThings lead game designer Giuseppe Enrico Franchi. “It is the result of two years of further development, where we designed and created more track elements to build even more challenging and fun courses for players to race on. It is our proudest achievement, and we are excited that fans will be able to enjoy Redout on a new platform.”
