KartKraft is a kart racing simulator which replicates weight shifting and flexing of the chassis to provide an ultra-realistic karting experience.
In KartKraft you’ll need to prove yourself in the entry and lower class karts to unlock the 45+ horsepower racing kart which can accelerate between 0-100km/h in a breathtaking 3.1 seconds as it sprints towards its top speed of 160km/h.
This all happens in a kart that clears the ground by just 18 millimetres – oh and there’s no such luxuries as downforce, suspension, or seatbelts for that matter.
The kart racing title will see you racing across the globe from Sarno in Italy, Atlanta Motorsports Park in the USA, Paul Fletcher International in the UK and Geelong Karting Club in Australia. Each track is laser scanned enabling pinpoint accuracy.
Last week saw the release of KartKraft’s VR beta which also included the second version of its physics model complete with improved force feedback as well as an increase in performance “across the board by 15%.”
We’ll keep our eyes peeled for any developments on the console versions of KartKraft.
