Need for Speed Heat has now officially gone gold meaning the finished game is being pressed into retail discs right now.
The news came courtesy of EA’s community manager Ben Walke who also dropped a few short gameplay clips of Need for Speed Heat which can be seen below.
The game has gone gold, and has been sent to be made into discs.

Need for Speed Heat is set in the fictional open-world of Palm City. During the day, street racers compete in the “Speedhunters Showdown”, at night, players can build their Rep in underground races but they must be wary of the police task force.
Almost every car can be customised in Need for Speed Heat and the game boasts a revamped material editor and new exhaust tuning system. Developed by Ghost Games, Need for Speed Heat will release worldwide on November 8 across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. Players who pre-order the standard edition will get a K.S Edition styled Mitsubishi Evolution X. Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition adds three K.S Edition styled cars (BMW i8 Coupe, Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe, Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport); access to exclusive deluxe edition character clothing; and increased earnings of in-game currencies Bank and Rep.
Those who pre-order Need for Speed Heat in-game from Need for Speed Payback on any format will get a 10% discount as a loyalty reward.
