We continue with our preview coverage of Microsoft's flagship racer Forza Motorsport 6 with a trip to the Rio circuit.
To spice things up a little we thought we'd try out a Formula One in a rather horrible looking paint scheme quite frankly (what were you thinking!). Alan has ABS and stability control assists turned off, and only has traction control to aid him in this preview footage. Also it's worth noting we are using a control pad for this video.
Driving the F1 car is challenging in the narrow winding sections of Rio, you can see just how bumpy certain sections are by looking at the front wheels bobbing up and down excessively at times. There's also one small section of track which is extremely slippery and you'll really need to tip-toe it over it to get out in one piece.
The different track surfaces really add to the challenge as you'll need to adapt your driving style to negotiate these surfaces which offer differing levels of grip. The game looks very impressive at 60 frames per second and the sense of speed throughout the course is very impressive indeed.
We've got a lot more Forza Motorsport 6 coverage to come and we'll also most likely have some more streams which you can watch live on our YouTube channel as well as a re-upload on YouTube and of course here on the website. Check out the Forza Motorsport 6 Formula One action at Rio below.
