We've managed to get our hands on a preview version of the upcoming rally racer WRC 5. Early signs are looking encouraging for the game which, for the first time in the series, is being created by French developer Kylotonn Games.
In this first WRC 5 video we give you a taste of all the gameplay videos that we will be publishing very shortly. We cover races not only on the different surfaces WRC 5 has to offer, but also at differing times of day too including some intimidating looking night stages. We also try out some of the various viewpoints too to mix up the action.
Alan's early impressions for the game are very positive, he found the rally racer fun and intuitive. Visually the game has come on in leaps and bounds and features some nice lighting and weather effects. In this video we get to see Alan challenging a member of the Kylotonn development team to a race.
WRC 5 mixes arcade and simulation elements and leans more towards the simulation side of things. The game should be relatively easy to pick up but hard to master. The game's menus are looking good and are presented in a simple and clean manner. Overall the game has pleasantly surprised us and we are looking forward to sharing more with you.
WRC 5 will be sliding onto the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Playstation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC platforms in October. For now enjoy the preview video below and stay tuned as we've got tons of WRC 5 coverage coming up very shortly.
