News First Forza Motorsport 7 in-game screenshots released

The first official screenshots of Forza Motorsport 7 have been released in the wake of the title's official premiere.

Much like the reveal trailer, the collection of preview images are predominantly focused on motorsports machinery – with the only two road cars contained in the current screenshot selection being the Lamborghini Centenario and Plymouth Cuda 426 Hemi.

Forza Motorsport 7's new time of day and weather affects have also been showcased in the previews, with the Nurburgring routes being depicted in conditions that haven't before been showcased in a Forza Motorsport game.

Content-wise, the preview images correlate with what was on display in the trailer – with the aforementioned Nordschliefe and the new Dubai location being the most heavily featured venues – though the images do also confirm the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be present in Forza Motorsport 7.

Likewise, whilst the extensive GT racing cars and Le Mans Prototypes from the E3 trailer are represented in the accompanying images, outliers like the pair of aforementioned road cars – as well as the Ferrari FXX-K and the vintage Alfa Romeo P3 single-seater – can be clearly seen in the previews.

Very little else can be gleaned from the images, though there are details that appear to be alluded to. For example, it's a possibility that multi-class racing will be supported in Forza Motorsport 7 – though whether it's isolated to events outside of the core single-player races, as was the case with Forza Motorsport 6, remains to be seen.

More details on Forza Motorsport 7 are expected to be revealed over the duration of the E3 expo.
