News Forza Motorsport 6 gets the jump on GT Sport with its eSports championship coming this summer

Gran Turismo Sport will not be the only high profile racer to host eSports competitions this year, indeed Forza Motorsport 6 will beat them to the punch and launch their own eSports championships later this Summer.
Imaginatively titled “Forza Racing Championship”, it promises to welcome players of all skill levels where “everyone has a chance to win” as they compete against one another to win real-world prizes.
What this actually means in real terms remains to be seen, however I'd expect players to be separated into a number of skill brackets to keep the competition fair.
That's about all Turn 10 Studios have revealed so far on the new eSports championships for Forza Motorsport 6, no doubt we'll hear lots more at E3 which is just a matter of days away now so stayed tuned.
