News DiRT Rally is getting a UK steelbook exclusive to Sainsburys

DiRT Rally is getting a special Steelbook Edition for PS4 and Xbox One featuring alternative artwork. In the UK, it will be sold exclusively at Sainsburys on April 5th alongside the main release.
Limited units will be available according to Codemasters – unfortunately you can't preorder it online, so we recommend popping in to your local Sainsburys to secure your order.
You'll also get a handy DiRT Rally Driver Guide handbook with the Steelbook Edition. Didn't these used to be instruction manuals?
The DiRT Rally Steelbook Edition will also be available in the following European territories: in France, retailer Micromania will be stocking the steelbook, Gamestop will be selling it in Germany and Austrian gamers will be able to pick it up at Gameware.
This isn't the first racing game steelbook Codemasters have released. Last year an F1 2015 steelbook was available exclusively at GAME. GAME also sold a Steelbook Edition of Colin McRae DiRT back in 2007.
The DiRT Rally Legend Edition will also be available on day one in a limited run, which includes the Fully Loaded MINI Pack unlocking a fully upgraded Mini from the start of game plus an exclusive livery. Potentially of more interest to rally fans is a bonus Colin McRae Legend blu-ray, a feature length documentary on the late rally champion included with the DiRT Rally Legend Edition.
