The wait is nearly over. In less than two weeks, Slightly Mad Studios will be releasing Project CARS 2 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, arguably one of the most anticipated racing games of the year alongside its more established titans, Forza Motorsport 7 and Gran Turismo Sport.
While most Project CARS 2 footage released so far has been sourced from the PC version of the game, we've managed to capture some gameplay from an early development build of the PS4 version, giving us our first glimpse at Project CARS 2 running on consoles. As such, the footage is not representative of the final game, but the visuals still compare well to the PC version. Played using a controller, we found that the refined physics felt natural on this setup compared to the original game.
In our world exclusive video, we take a look at the wealth of racing disciplines available in Project CARS 2, from exotic road cars like the McLaren 720S and Ferrari Enzo, to Indycars and vintage touring cars. We also take a look at some of the new weather conditions that can be applied to the long list of iconic racing circuits – there aren't many racing games that let you race at Brands Hatch in the snow.
Project CARS 2 races onto PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 22nd, so there's not long to wait. You can also look forward to our full Project CARS 2 preview coming shortly.
