Game: TT Isle Of Man: Ride on the Edge
Platform: PC, PS4, Switch, XBox One
Publisher: Bigben Interactive
Release Date: 23/05/2019 (Switch)
We recently caught up with Sebastien Waxin from Bigben Interactive to have a chat about the upcoming official TT game TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge.
Waxin explains that the handling on the game is currently only around 10-15% complete as the development team had to focus on re-creating the mammoth road course first and foremost. This is a huge undertaking, especially considering the limited resources that a smaller developer like Kylotonn Games has.
Waxin explains that TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge features online multiplayer for up to eight players, 36 official riders from 2016 and 2017 and that Kylotonn are working on future DLC, although no details have yet come to light.
Interestingly, and perhaps not surprisingly, the official TT game will not feature split-screen multiplayer thanks to technical limitations: rendering two instances of the Isle of Man road circuit simultaneously is simply too much to ask from today's hardware.
