News McLaren Shadow confirms driver lineup for 2018 F1 Esports Series

The McLaren Shadow esports team has confirmed which e-racers will represent the outfit in the 2018 F1 Esports Series competition.
Joining the “eFlying Finn” Olli Pahkala (the only driver selected by McLaren Shadow during the recent Pro Draft) will be two equally accomplished sim racers, in the form of Bono Huis (a five-times Formula Sim Racing Champion) and the Porsche e-Carrera Cup victor Enzo Bonito.
To help with the management of the outfit, McLaren Shadow has enlisted the assistance of the extremely successful Team Redline Fanatec esports team. Coaching duties for the drivers will also be undertaken by Team Redline Fanatec.
As well as being an extremely successful esports team with countless race and championship wins to its name, Team Redline Fanatec is a team that Bonito, Huis and Pahkala are also members of.
Team Redline Fanatec’s links to McLaren go beyond that, too. The prolific sim racer and Team Redline member Greger Huttu was one of the 12 finalists in the inaugural McLaren’s World’s Fastest Gamer competition, with the McLaren Young Driver Programme member Lando Norris also being a Team Redline e-racer.
The three McLaren Shadow drivers will race as part of a team together for the first time in October 2018, when the Pro Series rounds of the 2018 F1 Esports Series officially commence.
