News Racing version of Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo in the pipelines

A racing version of the Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina supercar is currently in the pipelines.
Speaking to Motor Sport Magazine, Fittipaldi Motors founder and two-times Formula One World Champion Emerson Fittipaldi revealed intentions to enter the EF7 in 2019 at either the Sebring 12 Hours or 24 Hours of Daytona endurance races.
Almost certainly set to be built to GT3 specifications, the Fittipaldi EF7 racing car is expected to undergo initial testing later this year. Development and construction work will also presumably be undertaken by HWA, the German engineering and motorsports firm that's also developing the EF7 supercar.
Considering the car's close association with the Gran Turismo series, it's highly likely the Fittipaldi EF7 racing car will be introduced to Gran Turismo Sport – assuming the title is still being supported by the time the EF7 competition car is completed.
