News Wreckfest smashes into PlayStation 5 with new features

Let’s kick off by saying how it great it is to see Wreckfest finally getting out there and being discovered by a larger audience. Following a protracted development, it was a real joy to finally see the game released, however the 30fps console versions lacked the fluidity of the PC and some games lose more from others when it comes to frame rate and resulting experience. Additionally, it also runs in 4K resolution delivering the expected 60 frames per second. The multiplayer now features 24 players so you can expect some absolute bedlam online. Wreckfest is coming to PS5™ on June 1st, 2021, and will be available both digitally and as a retail box for $ 39.99 / € 39.99 / £ 34.99. Owners of Wreckfest on PS4™ can upgrade to the enhanced version on PS5™ for $9.99 / € 9.99.
