News WRC 9 console players receive free upgrade to next gen formats

It’s been a while coming but NACON have finally revealed the announcement many gamers were looking for to. That WRC 9 would see an upgrade to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 via a free update for those who already own the current gen versions. Today NACON also revealed gameplay shown below running on a PS5 at 4k 60fps. Gameplay is looking lush though the video is compressed to 1080p and does not represent the full quality you can expect. Indeed, this footage runs even better than my GTX1080 PC version. A testament to the power of the new consoles, and great to see the comeback in the importance of framerate over resolution.
